Small Town Girl Big Dreams

l always felt like I truly came alive in the summer time especially if a block party was going on in my neighborhood. Music, food, and pictures were the perfect combination for a good time in my eyes. Pictures capturing those moments elevated the euphoria of all the combined elements. So when I heard that the City of Charleston was allowing people to dine outside due to the Covid-19 outbreak, I had to go see for myself. The vibe was very mellow, and there was slightly a breeze that hit you every now and then. The food from Sam's Uptown Cafe made everything just right if just for a moment. The streets were not as busy as I would have liked for them to be but under the current conditions I understood completely. After months of being locked in I enjoyed this moment for what its what was or could be, a new normal.
